History
- 1967 The year of the inaugural Tournament.
- John Dalzell a member of Portstewart Golf Club the man with the vision for the Tournament.
- The original host Clubs, Royal Portrush, Portstewart, Ballycastle and Castlerock.
- Remy Martin, Bushmills Irish Whiskey, Tullamore Dew Irish Whiskey, Magners Cider the event sponsors over the years.
- Ireland, UK, Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Italy, Canada, USA, Bermuda, South Africa countries the players come from.
- 500+ the number of golfers who regularly play the Tournament.
- Current Host Clubs, Royal Portrush, Ballycastle, Castlerock, Ballyliffin. (North West Golf Club hosted in 2019 when Royal Portrush staged The Open.)
Tournament Courses and Dates
The Causeway Coast Tournament 2024 will be played at Ballycastle, Castlerock, Ballyliffin and North West Golf Club hosting for Royal Portrush this year while they undergo preparations for The Open.
The Tournament will be played over five days Monday 3rd to Friday 7TH June. Each Player will play on four of the five days with a rest day.
Entrance Fees
Host / Partner Club Members. Contact your Club for details. Host Clubs are Royal Portrush, Ballycastle, Castlerock and Ballyliffin. Partner Clubs are North West, Rathmore and Bushfoot.
Golf Ireland Members £205
Visitors outside Ireland £315* *Visitors outside Ireland will be entitled to complimentary practice Rounds after 4.00 pm from the Monday to Friday preceding the Tournament. At all other times charging is at the discretion of the clubs.
Entrance fees will not be refunded after 13th May 2024
Entries will close when the Tournament limit of 600 entries has been reached.
